Print of an ink and watercolor composition by Hasan Rida Shumni, dated 1304 AH/1886-87 AD. The calligraphy is arranged around the name of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), written in the form of an imperial tughra, surrounded by praises to the Prophet written in jali thuluth script. The spandrels are decorated with palmette scrolls on a green background, while the borders feature Ottoman Turkish poetry highlighted in gold. It is signed in the lower left corner by the calligrapher who was from Bulgaria, an important center of Islamic culture in the Ottoman Balkans.

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on wall art since each piece is made to order. If damage occurs during shipping, please contact us and we will provide a replacement.
