Who We Are
Our shop is a curated collection of Islamic-inspired art and decor — each piece celebrates and highlights the richness, beauty, diversity and history of the Islamic world. Our framed prints can be customized, and we also feature a small collection of handmade items from artists and artisans around the world. The purchase of these pieces directly supports their livelihoods and the continuation of their pursuit of the arts. Art is something that can connect one to other people, to history, to nature and to the Divine; and our collections aim to do just that.
About Our Wall Art Prints
Every framed print is made to order. We work with a leading partner in the industry who has over 100 years of experience to print and frame our art. The highest quality frame moldings, plexiglass, and matboards are used; and they are as beautiful as they are built to last. They're all made and shipped from the U.S. Our paper printing is done using a high-quality printing process specifically for fine art prints using archival paper, known as giclée; and our frames are made from 100% wood or metal. Plexiglass is the industry standard, contains more UV protection, and is both lighter and less breakable when compared to glass. Our special UV plexiglass, which filters ~85-89 percent of UV and 92 percent of light provides even more durability and protection. It is used for the large majority of our art. Custom frames are available upon request for all of our prints, and some can be made to order in different sizes. The specific sizing and customization information for each piece can be found under 'product details' on the item page. The size indicated on the page includes the frame and mat (if any).

MEET THE OWNER
Hi, I'm Aziza
I'm a mom of 6 and lover of art, history, interior design, architecture, gardening and baking sourdough!
Living in America and feeling helpless while watching genocides unfold in Palestine and Sudan, has given me the sense of urgency and push I needed to start Heritage Home Atelier, a vision that I've had in my mind for some time. It was with the intention that this shop will serve as a means to give to people in places like Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, and Afghanistan among others, where they are facing devastating circumstances. Ten percent of the profits from each sale will be donated to programs such as World Central Kitchen, Heifer International, Aseel (based in Afghanistan), and grassroots humanitarian aid projects in Sudan. This Community Kitchen in Sudan is Setting an Inspiring Example for Grassroots Humanitarian Aid | OkayAfrica. If there is a particular organization that you would like to support through your purchase, please let me know! I will be more than willing to consider it!
The idea for this shop started years ago from something really simple: I was decorating my home, and I wanted decor that was meaningful, handmade, and inspired by Islamic art and history — but I couldn't find pieces that felt right.
I have always found Islamic art and architecture incredibly beautiful — from the patterns and calligraphy to the deep symbolism and craftsmanship. I wanted to share that beauty with others in a way that feels warm and modern yet connected to tradition.
Every piece you’ll find here is something I genuinely love — chosen for its quality, authenticity, and the story it tells.
